Ceresit CT 174 combines the good properties of silicate plaster and silicone plaster. It is vapor permeable, has low absorbency and is dirt repellent. CT 174 is used for making thin layer plasters on concrete substrates, traditional plasters, gypsum substrates and chipboards, drywall, etc. We recommend applying the plaster CT 174 as a facade plaster within complex systems for heating external walls Ceresit Ceretherm ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems) with the application of EPS sheets (expanded polystyrene) and mineral wool. In the case of intense dark colors, the application of the material should be limited to small areas, e.g. architectural details. Gypsum CT 174 is protected against biological paralysis, such as fungi and algae.
